Construction Representative. Job Description: ¥ Inspecting construction work to ensure compliance with design documents. * ¥ Interpreting construction work to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications. * ¥ Preparing related reports (such as Monthly Progress Report) and maintaining required reports of daily construction activities. * ¥ Preparing job-related correspondence and conducting contract/client meetings. * ¥ Informing senior resident engineer of specific problems and completion schedules. * ¥ Recommending solutions to specific construction problems. * ¥ Submitting applications and other data to regulatory agencies for review. * ¥ Reviewing and approving (if necessary) monthly contractor pay estimate. * ¥ Reviewing change orders. * The objective of this position is to plan and organize the activities of a medium-sized team, apply accepted standardization of materials and supplies and construction technology, and demonstrate knowledge of all field disciplines. * Job Requirements: ¥ B.S. degree in engineering or construction required. * ¥ Basic knowledge of construction techniques, standards and applications. * ¥ 8-10 years of related experience. * ¥ Must have strong client skills and a good understanding of other technical interface activities. Water/wastewater Plant Construction experience preferred. Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
