Seeking a Principal Open Pit Mining Engineer. * Responsibilities: * Expand the open pit mining expertise of our mineral resource group; provide marketing and business development in the precious and base metal mining arena, and co-ordinate with other Mineral Resource Division staff. Travel will be required. * Experience: * Minimum of 20 to 30 years of direct open pit mine planning, scheduling, capital and operating cost estimation. A Professional Engineer (P.E.) registration and Masters Level of education in mining engineering or related field preferred. Experience with open pit mine design and layout, scheduling, capital and operating cost estimation. * Skills Requirements: * Proficiency with the use of open pit design software, capital and operating cost estimation, mine evaluation, WORD, XCEL, and other mine design software. * Degree Requirements: * Minimum of a Master degree in mining engineering. Formal education in mineral economics is also desired. Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
