GIS Specialist needed for an anticipated opening. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing GIS support and GIS project/task management to a wide range of planning and engineering disciplines. Requires experience with ESRI software, specifically the ArcGIS suite (ArcCatalog, ArcMap, ArcToolbox) with understanding of CAD (AutoDesk / MicroStation) integration. Ability to perform GIS data conversion/editing, GIS map production, spatial database management, spatial analysis/reporting tasks. Professional technical experience with designing, creating, editing, and maintaining, geodatabases, and metadata for numerous projects. Strong understanding of GIS concepts and spatial data. Experience in the creation and maintenance of GIS data. Strong cartographic/data management skills needed to perform job duties. Minimum BA/BS Geography/GIS or related fields in environmental, civil engineering or geosciences and 3+ years experience required. 6+ years experience preferred. Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
