Senior Level Energy Auditor/Project Manager. * The auditing team conducts comprehensive energy audits in order to recommend significant proposed energy savings for clients. The ultimate goal of the audits is to provide investment grade reports with recommendations concentrating on HVAC, lighting and controls to reduce energy, water, and demand and maintenance savings. The candidate will identify energy conservation opportunities and help facilitate the implementation of projects, initiatives, and programs that reduce energy consumption and demand, save money, and help the environment. * Job Requirements: * The successful candidate must have a sound engineering background and the ability to communicate technical concepts accurately in language appropriate for the client's background. Since evaluating sites for potential energy management development and client meetings are integral to this position, the ability to travel is expected. Technical curiosity and the demonstrated ability to provide analysis and recommendations supported by sound business economics are required. * 6-10 plus years of experience in energy management/engineering; strong HVAC background; experience with auditing, project development, life-cycle cost analysis, commissioning, and building/system optimization is a plus. Previous experience working at Federal / DOD facilities is a plus. Certified Energy Manager designation is preferred. * Requires knowledge of utility information systems, energy management technologies and advanced energy metering; excellent verbal and written communication skills, analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills; proficient knowledge of computer spreadsheets; especially Excel, and other database applications. The ability to write clear and accurate reports is essential. * B.S. in engineering (mechanical or electrical) and at least 8+ years of experience in the energy management/auditing industry is required. Consulting experience is considered a plus. Military or civilian experience working at Federal installations is preferred. Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
