| Air Quality Specialist Mid-Level: Boulder CO Air Quality Specialist Mid-Level. Seeking an experienced professional to be responsible for air quality tasks (studies, reports, permit applications, dispersion modeling, emission inventories, regulatory review/due diligence) on a variety of projects (utility, petroleum, mining, chemical, etc.). This person will be responsible for managing projects as well as conducting technical analyses and be responsible for air quality task deliverables, quality assurance, and quality control. The professional will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining project or task budgets and schedules. The successful applicant must have at least 5 years of experience in the air quality field, including substantial air quality permitting expertise. Also must have proven management skills and a desire to manage projects and or staff. The applicant must familiar with stationary source permitting and state and federal air regulations. Experience with regulatory air quality dispersion modeling (ISCST, AERMOD, and CALPUFF) is required. Experience with mobile source emission estimation and modeling, GIS, Visual Basic, and Access are a plus. Must have experience working with Title V, PSD, NSR, BACT, and MACT, Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is also required. Other essential capabilities include the ability to work independently, to communicate effectively, and to consistently produce an accurate and high-quality technical product. B.S. degree in Engineering or related science degree required. Advanced degrees preferred. 40-hour OSHA training with Hazmat preferred. Must be US Citizen or authorized to work in the United States.
