PROJECT MANAGER: Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage Capital Projects in the Los Angeles area.

Candidate is required to have fifteen years experience with full responsibility for coordinating complex hospital building projects through all phases of project inception, programming, design, construction, and close-out.

Candidate must show experience in the following:
* Minimum 15 years of project management and 10 years of concurrent field experience;
* Work on high visibility, high risk projects;
* Ability to develop and review project budgets;
* Ability to develop and review project schedules;
* Ability to control project scopes;
* Work experience in project planning and development;
* Ability to run the day-to-day management aspects of a project;
* Skill in reviewing deliverables prepared by team before proceeding to next phase;
* Organized person who understands coordination of construction documents;
* Ability to effectively procure consulting services, monitor their work, and process payments;
* Ability to effectively facilitate team and client meetings effectively;
* Ability to effectively negotiate change orders with the contractor;
* Ability to effectively facilitate construction activities with the user groups;
* Working with OSHPD;
* Effectively recognize and elevate relevant project issues to superiors; and
* Set and manage project expectations.

Experience in the following is desirable:
* Work on projects with multiple phases and construction contracts simultaneously;
* Design-Build project delivery experience;
* Knowledge of LEED; and
* Knowledge of Public Contracting practices.
