We are seeking a Natural Resources Project Manager to join our Boulder office and become an integral member of our team. Responsibilities: Manage projects and business development activities focused on new facility permitting for natural gas storage, compressed air energy storage (CAES), oil and gas exploration and production (E&P), and oil and gas pipelines. Play a leadership role in identifying and developing opportunities with existing and new clients in Colorado and throughout the western U.S. Mentor natural resource specialists in professional and career development. Manage projects ensuring that firm-wide Project Management directives are met including project profitability, receivables collection, and project reporting. Foster a team environment with other Tetra Tech natural resources personnel and offices. Experience: 10 years of progressively increasing experience related to natural resources impact analysis, permitting, and project management. Oil and gas project experience required. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) permitting a plus Natural gas storage experience a plus. Developing track record of developing business and bringing in clients. A developed area of technical or client expertise that will bring a new or expanding business area to the Front Range Natural Resources group. Skills Requirements: The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage complex interdisciplinary projects in the form of NEPA analyses, natural resource management plans, and/or regulatory compliance/permitting documentation. In addition, the candidate must also demonstrate strong critical thinking capabilities and a flexible approach to problem solving; excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), planning, and organizational skills; and the attention to detail necessary to generate work products of the highest quality. Previous project management experience required. Some business development experience required. Degree Requirements: BA or BS in environmental science, or similar. Advanced degree a plus.
