Job Description:
Tetra Tech is a multi-disciplinary firm of consulting environmental scientists and engineers with offices throughout the United States. We are seeking Natural Resources Lead to join our Colorado Front Range Team and become an integral member of our team. Our Front Range offices include the Denver Tech Center, Golden, Boulder, and Fort Collins.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate the activities of a thriving interdisciplinary group of natural resource scientists and project managers throughout the Colorado Front Range to ensure efficient and effective levels of staffing over a range of new and ongoing projects.

Play a leadership role in identifying and developing opportunities with existing and new clients in Colorado and throughout the western U.S.

Mentor natural resource specialists in professional and career development.

Personally contribute to developing new clients for the Front Range organization and Tetra Tech in general.

Manage own projects ensuring that firm-wide Project Management directives are met including project profitability, receivables collection, and project reporting.

Fostering a team environment with other Tetra Tech natural resources personnel and offices.

Experience:

10 years of progressively increasing experience related to natural resources impact analysis, permitting, or management.

Proven tracking record developing business and bringing in clients. The expectation that self-generated work will begin within 3 months of start.

A developed area of technical or client expertise that will bring a new or expanding business area to the Front Range Natural Resources group.

Skills Requirements:

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage complex interdisciplinary projects in the form of NEPA analyses, natural resource management plans, and/or regulatory compliance/permitting documentation.

In addition, the candidate must also demonstrate strong critical thinking capabilities and a flexible approach to problem solving; excellent interpersonal, communication (oral and written), planning, and organizational skills; and the attention to detail necessary to generate work products of the highest quality.

Previous working relationships with, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and/or state regulatory agencies in the western U.S. is preferred as is experience with the permitting or impact analysis of transmission corridors or oil & gas pipelines.

Degree Requirements: BA or BS in environmental science, or similar. Advanced degree or MBA a plus.
