Responsibilities:
Tetra Tech is a leading international multidisciplinary environmental, engineering, and planning firm that offers excellent benefits and exciting career development prospects. The Baton Rouge, LA office is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager with a background in environmental (NEPA-related) regulations. Working with federal, state and local government agencies in managing coastal engineering and environmental projects is a near-term responsibility. Strong interests in building and developing an engineering staff with capabilities of providing high quality engineering services to compliment the environmental capabilities is essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing management and technical support on engineering and environmental projects. Developing engineering work in Baton Rouge and working with other engineering entities within Tetra Tech, primarily within the Gulf Coast region, will be required, as is the demonstrated ability to work well with others as member of team.
Required skills: The successful candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of engineering/project management experience, a degree in civil engineering, advanced degree preferred, experience in environmental regulations and NEPA requirements. Proven leadership and technical experience; excellent communication skills to build on client base and work with colleagues. US Army Corps of Engineers experience a plus.
