We are searching for a Senior Project/Program Manager for the Tulsa, OK area to provide technical, project, and program management support to various Tetra Tech NUS offices. Primary activities of the Senior Project/Program Manager will be to develop projects and opportunities with the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) as well as other Department of Defense (DoD), federal, state, and local clients.
The successful candidate will be assigned responsibilities that include providing support to on-going projects and assist in identifying and developing new projects related to environmental, engineering, or support; planning, scheduling, conducting and coordinating detailed phases of technical work; prepare project proposals and successfully complete project in accordance with the proposal schedule and budget; provide direction to staff personnel; interface with client project managers, government regulators, local authority and board members, and contractors; create business development materials for inclusion in proposals and marketing to new clients; and, conduct business development calls to prospective clients.
Job Requirements:
We require a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Science, or Technical area. An advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of fifteen years of related experience is required. We also require experience providing strong technical direction/support for DoD projects. The successful candidate must also have experience as a seller/doer with experience in the DoD market with particular emphasis on the US Army and US Army Corps of Engineers. We are searching for someone who is capable of marketing new and existing clients and has experience interfacing with state and local jurisdictional agencies. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the preparation of subcontractor procurements and bidding documents. We require experience at taking projects from inception (e.g., proposal preparation) through investigation, design, construction, and to completion.
