Requirements and specific responsibilities include:
-Development of design criteria for Electrical Systems associated with power generation projects (wind, solar, nuclear) including substations and transmission lines ( including high voltage systems )
- Prepare supporting calculations, equipment specifications, engineering reports, diagrams and related data tables; follow on support of equipment procurement, construction and commissioning phases of the projects.
-Provide technical consultation for interdisciplinary analytical studies and analysis
-Maintain affiliation with professional societies to keep abreast of current technologies
- Skills including task organization and time management skills to develop complex schedules and estimate engineering/design work-hours for all Electrical tasks
-Experience in performing modifications for operating facilities including performing safety evaluations
-Provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers
-Professional License required
-Min 20 years power plant experience; min 15 years in a lead role.
