Requirements: á Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture with a minimum of 8 years related experience or Associate Degree with minimum of 10 years related experience. á Experience in all aspects of site design as it relates to building design is required. Candidate should also have experience working in an A/E firm environment, and have project management experience. á Professional Licensure or Professional Certification is highly desirable. Experience with Dept of Defense and Educational projects is desirable, along with the ability to accept and travel for domestic and international project assignments. á Ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients, and vendors. Ability to synthesize team ideas and contribution. Ability to plan, organize, and implement with successful and timely results. Facility for written and oral communication. á Proficiency in computer use. Open to change and receptive to new ideas and concepts. Key Responsibilities: General: á Coordination and control of project work schedules, budgets and project hours. á Professionally confer and correspond with internal and external clients, agencies, and consultants regarding department activities á Work with Enterprise Site Department Manager(s) in regards to department scheduling and productivity, utilization, workload, and ensuring adequate staffing levels to maintain project schedules at all phases, and allowing timely completion of all other departmental/company requirements. á Support interdepartmental coordination and cooperation á Work with Enterprise Site Department Manager(s) to establish annual department budgets consisting of planned salary adjustments, seminar and conferences costs, departmental software and equipment. á Project Management for specific projects. Technical (in Coordination with the Enterprise Site Department Manager/s) á Responsible for the administration of all department projects, providing company oversight and solutions to problems. á Responsible for administration and compliance of office procedures and implementation of established company guidelines within the department. á Preserve quality assurance of department construction documents via QA/QC Process á Maintain up to date department standards/specifications/details/etc á Provide ongoing technical training of staff members in regards to staying current with latest design methods, code changes, etc. á Implementation of new company processes, procedures and systems. Personnel: á Supervise personnel and activities of department, maintaining a level of accountability for all staff within the department, providing both positive and negative consequences for performance. á Timely completion of probationary, annual and semi-annual evaluations of department personnel. á Professional development of staff. Identify team member's strengths/weaknesses, assign responsibilities/mentor to enhance team's performance, contributions, and individual job satisfaction. á Maintain department moral, and assist department staff with understanding of the overall company goals, vision, and mission. á Timely communication of announcements, company financial performance and other information disseminated by the Management Team.
