Job Description:

Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer (Vertical Construction) who has a passion for coaching and mentoring people, excels at project management, and aspires to have a key management role in an A/E design firm.

Requirements:

á Minimum of 8 years experience working in an A/E design firm with responsibilities for electrical system design for vertical construction.

á Experience with security system design and voice/video/data systems preferable.

á Project Experience in Department of Defense and Educational sectors is desirable, along with a willingness to travel for domestic and international project assignments.

á Minimum of 2 years experience in supervisory/management role desired.

á Must have ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients, and vendors.

á Must have strong team building skills and ability to plan, organize, and manage the Electrical Dept's project workload with successful and timely results.

á Must have convincing written and verbal communication skills as well as strong computer skills .

á Must be energetic and receptive to new ideas and concepts

á Education: Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - Professional Licensure or Professional Certification: Very desirable.

á Must have working knowledge of AutoCAD

á Must be proficient is Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project

Key Responsibilities:

á Manage department scheduling, utilization, workload, and ensure adequate staffing levels to maintain project schedules at all phases

á Professionally confer and correspond with internal and external clients, agencies, and consultants regarding department activities

á Support inter-departmental coordination and cooperation

á Sustain quality of department construction documents via QA/QC Process

á Provide ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities for staff Professional development of staff.

á Maintain department moral, and consistently represent and communicate the overall company goals, vision, and mission.
