PROJECT STRUCTURAL ENGINEER: California BS Degree in Civil Engineering Required, Master's Degree preferred. Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience on major commercial projects with seismic analysis and design experience. Must have California SE License. OSHPD Experience required. Needs to have knowledge and experience on Hospital Projects in California. Perform complete structural engineering design for mid-rise steel and concrete structures in high seismic region, must be competent in Seismic Design. Conformity with pertinent building codes, safety code ordinances and related regulations. Involved in all phases of the project-review of conceptual design through contract documents; review shop drawings and construction administration. Interface with owner's representatives, construction and state authorities. Must be able to be a proficient user of computer applications such as RAMSTEEL and ETABS. Knowledge of RISA, finite element analysis programs and Autocad preferred. This person will work in the Los Angeles, CA area.
