Description
This position will work independently and report to Geotechnical Department Manager. Prepare proposals, including scope, methods and fees under review of Department Manager. Ensure consistently accurate and timely client and management communication. Assists in developing and maintaining client relationships. Responsible for overall management of small to medium projects and specific tasks on large projects. Perform field investigations and construction inspections. Perform both routine and complex engineering analyses. Resolve technical problems independently. Make technical recommendations and decisions within project scope. Prepare reports and oversees preparation of reports by others under the review of Department Manager. Assists in mentoring younger staff.
Requirements
6+ years experience in geotechnical engineering.
M.S. in Civil Engineering.
Professional Registration in any state with ability to become registered in CA within 1 year.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle experience preferred.
Education
M.S. in Civil Engineering.
