Description
Our Raleigh, NC office is seeking a Group Manager - Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Engineer / Construction Engineer.
Requirements
The CMT Group Manager is an industry-recognized individual that serves as the leader for staff development, expansion of our existing work, and development of new environmental technical services. The successful candidate must have experience identifying, winning, and leading CMT projects along with the desire to attract and lead other professionals. This position will manage client relationships and contracts that may include complex, multi-disciplinary projects in engineering. The CMT Group Manager is responsible for directing business development, technical excellence, presentations, planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and hiring and mentoring of junior technical staff.
A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in project management including supervising a multiple-discipline team. Must value: Providing growth opportunities to every member of the team; partnering with clients as a trusted advisor; and acting as a good steward within our community. The candidate will have a record of successful collaboration, teaming, marketing, client relationship management, and technical leadership.
Education
BS Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Registration (PE) in North Carolina or the ability to obtain registrations within 3 months is desired, or EIT and other certifications and 5+ years of applicable experience.
