NATIONAL SURFACE WATER TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM MANAGER: Golden, CO Requisition Number 08-0170 Description The National Surface Water Resources Program at Kleinfelder, an ENR Top 100 design firm, with offices throughout the United States, is soliciting candidates for the National Surface Water Technology Program Manager position. Specific experience should include civil, geotechnical, structural, hydrologic, hydraulic, and geological engineering associated with safety evaluations, planning, design, and construction of water resources projects including dams, levees, spillways, outlet works, penstocks, intake towers, and water conveyance facilities. The National Surface Water Technology Program Manager will coordinate and manage the efforts of Principal Technology Leaders in the surface water resources program including engineering geology, hydrology, geotechnical engineering, structural engineering, hydraulic engineering, dam safety, risk assessment, instrumentation and civil engineering. Requirements Minimum MS in Civil Engineering, professional engineering registration, and 15 yrs of experience in the evaluation, design, and construction of embankment and concrete dams and appurtenant structures, levees, canals, and tunnels. Must be capable of guiding the Principal Technology Leaders in the development of practices under each of the technology areas identified above. Must be expert in at least one of the primary technology areas. Experience and/or knowledge with Rist and Failure Modes Assessment also required. Experience with various analysis software, Excel, Word, Power Point and others as appropriate. Must have strong communication, management, and leadership skills and a commitment to business development, effective project delivery, and client satisfaction. Must be willing to travel. Education Minimum MS in Civil Engineering and professional engineering registration is required.
