Description

The National Surface Water Resources Program at Kleinfelder, an ENR Top 100 design firm, with offices throughout the United States, is soliciting candidates for the Water Resources Project Manager position. Duties will include the Planning, Design, and Construction of water resources projects for the Surface Water Resources Program nationwide. Specific experience should include civil, geotechnical, structural, hydrologic, hydraulic, and geological engineering associated with safety evaluations, planning, design, and construction of water resources projects including dams, levees, spillways, outlet works, penstocks, intake towers, and water conveyance facilities.

The Water Resources Project Manager will manage the scope, schedule, and budget for dams, levees, for planning, design, and construction.

Requirements

Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive engineering and project management experience with water resources projects. Additional requirements are:

* Manage project for planning, design, and construction

* Ensure client satisfaction on scope, schedule and budget

* Lead team in project delivery and performance

* Provide mentoring/training to staff

Critical path management using PM software including Microsoft Project, SureTrak. Experience with Earned Value Analysis, with certification with PMI as a project manager a plus. Good communication/organizational skills, effective project delivery abilities, commitment to client satisfaction and ability to lead project delivery teams required. Must be willing to travel.

Education
Minimum B.S. in Civil Engineering, MS preferred. Professional registration is required.
