The well established Great Plains Region (NE, KS, OK) has an immediate opening for a Regional Manager to take charge of one of Kleinfelder's most vibrant, fast-growing and exciting geographic areas. The Great Plains Region is well positioned to capitalize on each of our strategic markets. With a rich history of success, the region has grown profitably while exceeding the $13 million gross revenue mark. With offices in Omaha, Lenexa, Topeka, Tulsa, and Oklahoma City, the team is tight and demonstrates a fantastic work ethic and One Company approach. The Regional Manager position may be located in any of the Great Plains offices.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall financial performance of the Region and the development and direction of staff within the above mentioned offices. Working with the team, the successful candidate will develop and execute the region specific business plan including: communicating the Region's future (vision) to the field and office staff, key hires, professional development, succession planning, client selection and associated marketing efforts, project delivery/management, health and safety, loss prevention and quality control.
Requirements
A minimum of 12 years of professional experience, preferably in a consulting engineering environment with experience in environmental, geotechnical, or a related field, with increasing responsibilities for technical management.

* Strong marketing/business development/client relationship skills
* Excellent communications and writing skills
* Demonstrated ability to hire, develop and retain the right people
* 12+ years of proven related experience, 7+ years designated professional experience and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, 6+ years management experience required
* Professional registration preferred
* Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Oracle experience preferred. Superior communication skills and in-depth knowledge of company products and operations
Education
Bachelors degree required. Masters/MBA degree or equivalent preferred.
