Description
Performs routine to complex field and laboratory tests and inspections for purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications. Follows proper procedures, performs accurate computations, maintains cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc. Prepares daily reports and data sheets. Prepares reports for review by supervisor prior to submittal to client. Provides training and mentoring to others. May be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years of related experience required. Maintain required certifications for various disciplines as required (ICC, NICET, CALTRANS, AWS). General knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required. AA degree or equivalent desired.
