Description
The Environmental Area Manager is an industry-recognized individual that serves as the leader for staff development, expansion of our existing work, and development of new environmental technical services in Kleinfelder's Inland Empire Region. The successful candidate must have experience identifying, winning, and leading environmental consulting projects along with the desire to attract and lead other professionals. This position will manage client relationships and contracts that may include complex, multi-disciplinary projects in environmental science and engineering, and environmental health. The Environmental Area Manager is responsible for business development, technical excellence, presentations, planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and hiring and mentoring of junior and senior technical staff.
Requirements
A minimum of 10 years progressive experience in project management including supervising a multiple-discipline team. Experience in technology and federal government facilities a plus. The candidate will have a record of successful collaboration, teaming, marketing, client relationship management, and technical leadership.
Education
BS in engineering or geology. Masters degree or equivalent desired.
