Description
The Carolinas Region has an immediate opening for an Area Manager responsible for our environmental consulting and testing practice. This candidate can sit in the Charlotte, Greensboro, or Raleigh office. The Carolina Region is a very dynamic and talented team of approximately 150 employee-owners with a well balanced workload of public and private contracts providing traditional environmental assessment and remediation, environmental engineering, stack testing and industrial hygiene services.
Requirements
This Manager will lead the strategic development of the environmental consulting and testing practice in the Carolina's marketplace, including developing diversification and business development strategies and execution of a strategic business plan. Preferred candidates will have a proven background serving industrial/manufacturing clients. Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) skills, the ability to develop and coordinate an environment fostering teamwork, collaboration and mentoring. Candidate must have a passion for providing growth opportunities to every member of the team, partnering with clients as a trusted advisor, and acting as a good steward within our community.
Education
The successful candidate will have MS in Engineering or related, certification/registration as PE or PG preferred, plus 8-12 years of related experience, including 6+ years of related supervisory/management experience.
