TECHNICIAN (CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING): Pleasanton, CA Requisition Number 08-0208 Description Our Bay Area offices are looking for an entry-level lab technician to perform routine field and laboratory tests and inspections for purpose of verifying conformance to construction plans and specifications. The successful candidate will be based in the Pleasanton office but may be asked to work from time to time in one of our other Bay Area labs. The successful candidate will be able to follow proper procedures, perform accurate computations, and maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc. Prepares daily reports and data sheets. Operates with close to moderate supervision. May be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor. 0 - 1 year or related experience. Apprentice or trainee. Maintain required certifications for various disciplines as required (such as ICC, NICET, State DOT, AWS, etc.) Basic knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred. Valid California Driver's license and clean DMV printout Pre employment physical required prior to employment Requirements 0 - 1 year or related experience. Apprentice or trainee.
