Description
Attention Engineering Technicians for Construction Testing & Inspection Services! Kleinfelder one of the nation's fastest growing quality project management and engineering consulting companies in the United States have open positions for Engineering Technicians in our Construction Materials Testing group for short term and long term assignments. The project is anticipated to last three to seven years and have opportunities for extended hours of work (overtime) and subsidy for accommodations. Preferred candidates will have experience working under nuclear quality assurance (NQA)-1 program or demonstrated experience with a similar quality system.
Additionally, several, full time opportunities for Engineering Technicians including Supervisory Technician in our Midland, Texas office are also available. The Midland office is located in a rapidly developing area of the country and has been providing geotechnical and construction materials testing services in the local market since 1964. These positions will work both in the lab and in the field. Projects include commercial, roadways, schools, parks, airports, pump stations, wind farms, and oil field projects.
All successful candidates must be able to follow proper standards and procedures, perform accurate computations, maintain cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc., have clear and concise verbal and written communications, able to work independently or part of a team environment, perform with moderate to close supervision and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.
Requirements
Candidates with 1 - 10+ years of related experience and have as a minimum ACI Field-1 and Nuclear Gauge Operator certification are welcome to apply. Ability to obtain and maintain various other certifications including NICET, ICC, State DOT, etc. is considered a plus. Engineering Technicians with 5+ years of welding experience and capable of obtaining AWI welding inspection certifications are also encouraged to apply. General knowledge of MS Office including Word and Excel is preferred.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent required.
