AREA MANAGER: Las Vegas, NV Requisition Number 08-0227 Description Kleinfelder Region has an immediate opening for an Area Manager position in our Las Vegas, Nevada office. The Las Vegas area covers Southern Nevada and is part of the Intermountain Region which is comprised of Nevada and Utah. The Las Vegas office was established in 1979 and currently has 60 talented professional and technical staff. The office provides a complete offering of Kleinfelder services including materials engineering/testing, geotechnical engineering and environmental services. The Las Vegas market has a dynamic and vibrant economy with some of the largest private development and public works jobs in the country. These duties will include responsibility for delivering exceptional client service, continually strengthening our position in the marketplace, execution of the business plan, ensuring the Area meets its projected goals for programs, clients and financial performance and leading and developing the team by providing a challenging and rewarding work environment for our employees. Requirements The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of proven experience managing in a civil engineering/geosciences firm with an emphasis in geotechnical or environmental work is required. Candidate must also have a proven record of successful collaboration, teaming, marketing, client relationship management, technical leadership, mentoring of staff and fiscal accountability. Education Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field. MS Degree preferred. Professional registration as applicable is required.
