Description
Kleinfelder's Denver office is seeking an Environmental Scientist with progressive experience in project permitting, wildlife ecology, and impact assessment. Environmental Planning, permitting, wetland and NEPA experience is preferred. Due diligence, soil/groundwater sampling a plus.
Requirements
The ideal candidate must possess 4-8 yrs experience in permitting ecology and assessments. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be experienced in the use of personal computers. Experience in coordinating field activities including subcontractors and junior staff; and preparing proposals, work plans and reports under the direction of senior staff. They must have worked on the permitting of projects with regulatory agencies and be able to work successfully with minimal supervision or as a member of a project team. May act as field manager on larger, more complex field projects. The candidate will have a record of successful client relationships, and experience working with a diverse group of public and private clients.
Education
Bachelors degree in engineering, environmental science or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
