Description
Kleinfelder's Santa Rosa office has an immediate need for a staff geologist or engineer with experience or interest in environmental work. We are looking for a geologist or environmental engineer with at least 3 years experience with environmental site assessments and soil and groundwater projects. Experience with asbestos and lead-based paint is also desired. Good technical writing skills a must.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with the industry's best, tackling technical challenges on small to large scale projects. Examples of the diversity of environmental projects in the Santa Rosa office include CEQA and Title 22 environmental compliance for the re-opening of the Northwestern Pacific Railroad from Napa to Eureka, a major diesel release site that threatens Santa Rosa creek adjacent to the City Hall, investigation and mitigation of naturally occurring asbestos on two proposed school sites in Napa, and lead-contamination remediation at the Golden Gate bridge seismic retrofit project. A BS from an accredited college/university is required, and a major in geology or engineering is preferred. A strong desire to achieve certification or registration (such as a PG or PE) when eligible is a must.

Requirements
4 - 8 years related experience; or 2 years related experience with MS or 1 year of related experience with PhD. Certifications or registrations as available by profession. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Oracle experience preferred. Good communication skills and knowledge of company operations and products.

Education
Bachelors degree in engineering or related field or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
