Description
We currently have a need in our Tucson office for a Principal Geotechnical Professional to join us and be an integral member of our team. We are seeking a professional that can make an impact on our organization.
The scope of this position will be to direct technical programs and projects across multiple disciplines and sizes, with overall program/project responsibilities. Ensures consistently accurate and timely client and management communications. Analyzes and resolves extremely complex technical problems independently and serves as a technical resource throughout the company. Develops and maintains client relationships. Serves as lead technical specialist in discipline, recommending novel concepts and design changes. Performs analytical, field, and project management work. Manages major proposal coordination, preparation and technical assessment. Participates in major technical, cost, scheduling and performance decisions.
Requirements
15+ years of related experience in consulting engineering firm or related service business and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations required; or 13 years related experience with MS or 11 years related experience with PhD. Certifications or registrations in the state of Arizona or equivalent in another state.
Education
B.S. in engineering or related technical field or equivalent combination of experience and education required. M.S. preferred.
