ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER/SCIENTIST - VAPOR INTRUSION SPECIALIST: Helena, MT Requisition ID: 9701BR Job Description: CDM is looking to hire a full time Engineer/Scientist in Helena, MT with expertise in Vapor Intrusion (VI). As a member of our Environmental Remediation Division (ERD), you will contribute to CDM's mission by: * Providing technical expertise to support existing and future task orders with at vapor intrusion sites throughout the State of Montana * Supporting the Montana DEQ Remediation Division with development of Montana-specific regulatory guidance for vapor intrusion * Prepare sampling and analysis plans for the collection and analysis of indoor air and soil gas data * Analyzing soil gas and indoor air data to assess the potential for VI * Providing design support for soil vapor extraction (SVE) and indoor air mitigation systems * Assisting in the development of database to house and manage all vapor intrusion data for more than 40 VI sites across the State of Montana * Participating in business development and utilizing VI expertise to support projects nationally Job Requirements: * Minimum of 7-10 years since BS Degree as an Engineer, Scientist or Hydro-geologist * Significant experience with vapor intrusion investigations, indoor air and soil gas sampling procedures and protocols, regulatory guidance, and vapor mitigation systems is a must * Registration as a licensed PE required for engineering positions * Registration as a licensed Professional Geologist required for geologist positions * MS Degree preferred for scientist positions.
