CLIENT SERVICES MANAGER: Sacramento, CA Requisition ID: 8608BR Job Description: As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM's mission by: Negotiating critical and controversial issues with top level engineers/scientists and officers of other organizations Taking responsibility for an important segment of very extensive and highly diversified engineering/scientific programs, critical to overall CDM objectives Deciding the kind and extent of engineering/scientific and related programs needed for accomplishing CDM's objectives Selecting scientific approaches Planning and organizing facilities and programs Interpreting results Supervising several subordinate supervisors or team leaders, some of whom are at level VII or VIII Formulating and guiding the attack on problems of exceptional difficulty and marked importance to CDM or the industry Performing advisory and consulting work for CDM as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area of considerable novelty and importance Possibly being assisted on individual projects by other engineers/scientists or technicians Job Requirements: A successful CDM candidate will have: B.S. in engineering; Registration as P.E.; At least 12 to 15 years of experience; Skill in persuasion and in the negotiation of critical issues; Strong business development skills; and An in-depth understanding of CA water resources issues.
